Windy City Woodworks is located in Craig, Alaska, a town of about 1500 people in the Southeast part of the State, near the south end of the Tongass National Forest.  For generations, the town of Craig has been nicknamed 'The Windy City.' 

 

Craig is a coastal community situated on the west coast of Prince of Wales Island and, as the nickname implies, is subject to high winds that blow through town as each new weather system approaches from the great Pacific Ocean.

The following pages show wood pieces that I made in my shop in Craig.  Most of the pieces displayed here have been sold already.  These pages simply show the type of woodworking that I do.  My contact information is on the last page.  I'm not currently selling pieces on the site, but plan to move in that direction over the next few months.
